Direct cremation is the simplest and most affordable funeral option. It suits families who want their loved one treated with full care and respect, without the cost of a traditional funeral service.
What our direct cremation service includes:
• We transfer your loved one into our care, prepare them with the same attention we give to everyone, and carry out the cremation. • We do all the required paperwork. • Your loved one is placed in a simple, dignified cremation casket unless you prefer something more formal.• The ashes are then returned to you.
What a direct cremation does not include:
Viewings, a funeral service, or attendance by a celebrant. If you would like a memorial gathering afterwards — at a home, a hall, or anywhere else — we can help organise that separately.
Cost
The cost for a direct cremation is $3,000 plus GST. This is an inclusive price. If you wish to add a formal service or other arrangements, we will discuss that openly before anything is agreed.
