What to do first
When someone dies, call us. That is all you need to do.
We are available any time — day or night, weekends and public holidays. We will come to you.
What it helps to have when you call
• The name of the person who has died, and where they are
• Your name and contact number
• The name of their doctor, if you know it
• Whether you are thinking of burial or cremation — but if you don't know yet, that is fine
What happens next
We bring your loved one into our care as soon as you are ready. The sooner we can do this, the more options your family will have — including a viewing, if you wish.
We will arrange a time to sit down with you and talk through everything at whatever pace suits you.
Many people who call have never arranged a funeral before. You do not need to have the answers.
